Practice Areas

Human rights issues permeate many areas of daily life. The growth in rights litigation, the increase in awareness by public bodies (and private bodies who may exercise public functions) of their duties in relation to the Human Rights Act 1998 and the creation of the Scottish Commission for Human Rights are all testament to the development of a growing human rights culture in Scotland.
When it comes to human rights, we can provide tailored advice to meet the needs of clients in a dynamic and diverse legal environment. It is also part of our role to ensure that our clients' human rights are upheld and that clients do not inadvertently infringe the human rights of others.
A number of our team members have specialist qualifications in human rights and years of practical experience of human rights advice and litigation.
