We provide you with support for all aspects of property development and the various vehicles used for development and investment purposes.

We have specialist skills in planning procedures and law, property tax, creating investment vehicles, partnerships and others, land assembly, development agreements, development finance, construction contracts, appointments and warranties, letting and investment sales which all combine to ensure a team covering all the elements of successful development projects are offered to you.

We currently advise on commercial, industrial and residential developments as well as leisure, tourism and healthcare developments.

As legal advisers to many large landowners in Scotland, we have extensive experience in the disposal of land for development. We regularly advise on disposal structures including profit sharing and clawback arrangements.

We also act for many clients in the public sector and are fully conversant with the requirements of protecting the public sector duties to demonstrate value in disposal.

Development vehicles require co-ordination with tax, accounting and valuation advisers often in other jurisdications. We regularly work with such other advisers in co-ordinating the appropriate advice to create the relevant arrangement to suit our clients requirements.
