Marika Franceschi
Marika is a senior solicitor in our Family Law department.
Her primary focus is family and child related issues.
She has experience in the analysis, preparation and presentation of cases in the Sheriff Court and Court of Session. She regularly advises clients on a large variety of family matters including international child abduction, financial provision on divorce, child contact/residence issues, matrimonial separation and issues arising from periods of cohabitation.
Marika also has experience and a keen interest in complications arising from cross-border relationships and the sensitive cultural issues that are frequently involved.
Marika generally advises clients on the best way to resolve their disputes whilst trying to minimise upset to the family.
She is a fluent Italian speaker and has addressed an international convention in Italy on topical aspects of family law in Scotland.
