Fiona Stephen
Fiona is a partner who heads up our Property Litigation team, part of our property division.
The team acts for major landowners, developers, contractors and local authorities across the spectrum of property law both contentious and non-contentious. Fiona and the team work closely with their colleagues in the commercial real estate and land resources departments.
Fiona has a particular interest in human rights aspects involving property law and has provided advice to clients on a number of high profile projects.
She has many years experience representing clients in courts throughout Scotland, including the House of Lords, Court of Session, Sheriff Court, Scottish Land Court and Lands Tribunal for Scotland. Fiona was admitted as a solicitor advocate in 2006.
In 2008 Fiona was re-appointed to the Pursuers Panel by the Law Society of Scotland which deals with claims against solicitors, many of which involve property law.
