  • Advised the promoter (tie Ltd) on the use of compulsory purchase powers for the Edinburgh Airport Rail Link project.
  • Advised the promoter (Scottish Borders Council) on compulsory purchase and compensation for the Waverley (Borders) Railway project. We produced the guide for compulsory purchase and compensation for which we were commended by the Parliamentary committee which considered the private legislation underpinning the scheme.
  • Advised Kwik-Fit plc in relation to claims for compensation arising from two compulsory purchase order road schemes. Both of these claims were settled satisfactorily.
