  • Advising Age Concern Scotland in relation to a UK wide merger with Help the Aged and the other UK Age Concern charities.
  • Advising Edinburgh Napier University regarding the redevelopment of its campus and the institution’s rebranding. We liaised with other departments to ensure that issues that arose relating to the University’s charitable status were quickly addressed.
  • Advised the National Trust for Scotland in relation to a wide range of governance matters and in particular, options available to the charity arising from the financial challenges which it faces in the current financial climate. Advising in relation to all public procurement issues in obtaining all necessary works and services for the construction of the new visitor centre at the Robert Burns birthplace museum. This is time sensitive because of the celebrations planned for the 250th anniversary of the birth of Scotland’s national poet.
