Martin Campbell
Martin as our director of tax services is responsible for managing and developing the comprehensive tax compliance and advisory services offered in Private Client services.
He is a senior associate, qualified chartered tax adviser and is accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a specialist in Private Client Tax Law.
Martin advises on all areas of private client work and specialises in providing practical tax and trust planning advice for tax mitigation, estate planning and asset protection. His clients include estate and land owners, high net worth individuals, trusts, family-owned companies and other entities.
Martin also provides specialist tax advice to other departments in the firm, including our property, employment, family and corporate departments. He provides tax advice on the structuring of various transactions involving family companies including re-organisations, shareholder exit strategies and employee incentive schemes. His work with our property departments mainly involves providing pro-active tax planning advice on the structuring of property and land acquisitions, ownership and disposals.
Martin is a member of the Society of Trust and Estates Practitioners, the Personal Finance Society and is registered as a notary public.
