Judy Williamson
Judy is a Senior Associate in our Dispute Resolution department.
With primary focus in our healthcare and regulatory practice, Judy has over 15 years litigation experience.
She specialises in personal injury and medical negligence and deals with complex and sensitive cases and successfully pursued one of the first jury trials in a medical negligence case in Scotland. She has extensive experience of preparation and presentation of cases in the Court of Session. Judy is regularly instructed in Fatal Accident Inquiries. She can advise on all aspects of Healthcare law. She also advises on a range of regulatory issues.
She is accredited by the Law Society as a Specialist in Medical Negligence and is also a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers and Association of Regulatory and Disciplinary Lawyers.
Judy is recognised as a 'Leader in their Field' by law directory Chambers UK 2012 for Clinical Negligence: Mainly Claimant (Scotland).
She is also a notary public.
