Chris Dickson
Chris is a partner within our Dispute Resolution department
Chris is also a solicitor advocate and won 'rising star of the year' award at the 2008 Scottish legal awards.
He conducts a large amount of appearance work in both the Court of Session and the Sheriff Court and has rights of audience in the House of Lords and the judicial committee of the Privy Council.
Chris has significant dispute resolution experience with particular experience in commercial disputes, professional negligence, defamation, and health and safety matters. He has pursued and defended a number of high value claims. He has advised major insurers, liability loss adjusters and commercial clients on a wide range of litigated matters.
Chris also tutors civil court practice on the post graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at Edinburgh University.
